question : how can a poet verse, with thinking every line through? isnt peotry the most intimate and its expression a seamless flow?
then how can it be cultivated? how do these writers write with complete meaning and for the ones that do manage poetry in thier rhythms, have they already absorbed the reality of the subject so much into thier stream, that now sense flows just as the pen meets paper...
the debate begins in my head with this program on radio featruing 'gulzar' and his verses are so inseperable from him, one can actually see a language (like the various languages architecture builds with its various manifestations). and to me frankly, that is quite a wonder, as beyond a mark in the 'framing' of language, poetry could hardly be distinguished by the content and inferences. something about gulzar seems disticntly his, and so it brings me back to... how great a writer he must be that within his understandings already lie, all the realms of reality and imagined.. and he can bring justice to each, like they were all his own children..
